Family Foundation Group connects residents with local housing resources for rent and mortgage assistance.

There are Many non-governmental and non-profit agencies also offer rental assistance to families who have an income below 80% of the local median one. Rent assistance generally requires that the applicant’s household makes less than 50% of the Area Median Income. Also, the applicant must be 18 or older.

Criminal records, past evictions, rent arrears history and credit checks are important qualifiers when agencies decide if the applicant is eligible for rent assistance.

Must provide full amount of wages and salaries, the income from the operation of a business, interest, and dividends.

** Mortgage Assistance seekers must first show proof they have contacted their mortgage company for assistance or local Housing Counseling Center. **
